NEW! Maramureş Pass: Tourist discount Card 

 

Maramureş Pass is a card that visitors to Maramures are invited to purchase in order to benefit from tourist discounts.

We have 43 partners - tourist attractions, hotels and pensions, restaurants and bars, travel agencies, rent a car & rent a bike agencies and an outdoor equipment shop - that will offer 5 to 50% discounted prices to Maramures Pass' users.

There are three types of discounts: for individual tourists, for families and for groups. The card comes attached to a booklet that describes the Maramures Pass partners and their offers. In order to help you identify them, all partners will display the Maramures Pass sticker on their entrances.

How much is the Pass?

Maramures Pass can be purchased from our office for 10 lei (aprox. 2.5 Euros), an encouraging price that motivates you to save money during your stay in Maramures. Once you have this card, you will pay less for museums' entrance, for a journey with Mocanita (steam train), for your accommodation, dining and other services you might need as a tourist here. Of course, the more you use it, the more you save.

Where to buy?

The main distributor will be us, MaramureşInfoTurism. You can come to our office to buy the card and the booklet (bonus: free maps and brochures) or order them via email: office@visitmaramures.ro.

There are other distributors as well and we are planning to enlarge their number.
