Once you arrive in Baia Mare, you should stop here, at Maramureş Tourist Information Center.

Although not very conveniently located (ground floor of the Prefecture's building, a few meters distance from the main pathway that connects new center with the historic center) our office proves to be very efficient in providing up-to-date details about tourist attractions, accomodation, itineraries, transportation, local events.

We also offer our visitors maps, brochures, leaflets, postcards. If you don't want to miss anything that Maramures has to offer, this is the place to get your information. You are very welcome to visit us.
