4. Monastery «Holy Tranfiguration» in Botiza

The monastery "Holy Tranfiguration " ("Schimbarea la Fața") dates back to 1993. The wooden construction on the concrete foundation is 25 meters long and a width that reaches 12 meters in the area of the nave's abs and 8 meters in the pronaos.

The raising of "Saint Ana" Monastery( Mănăstirea Sfânta Ana) began in 1923, the founding priest Nicolae Gherman having built it in the memory of his daughter, child that he lost when she was only 10 years old.
