Florin Teleptean

Florin Teleptean is a folk craftsman from Sighetu Marmației, Maramureș County, who dedicated his life to promoting the traditional craft of woodworking.

This folk craftsman is famous for the unique decorative objects that were created by his skilled hands: fruit bowls, choppers, various holders for jewelry, candles and spices, key chains and trinkets. With his rich imagination, the craftsman sculpts the most unique furniture objects, with patterns inspired by the specific symbols of Maramureș.

Florin Teleptean is a very active folk craftsman, who gladly participated in all the editions of the Fair “Goodies of Maramureș” (Bun de Maramureș), as well as in other local or national events for the promotion of the traditional culture of Maramureș.
