The wooden church "The Holy Archangels Michael and Gabriel" from Orțîța

The wooden church “The Holy Archangels Michael and Gabriel” from Orțîța was dated dendrochronologically between the years 1782-1785. Over time it went through several restoration processes. In 2007, the turret was refurbished for the second time, returning to its original shape, on which occasion the sheet metal roof was replaced with a shingled roof. The interior painting has been largely preserved, but needs restoration.
