The wooden church "Saint Nicholas" from Budești Susani

Erected in 1760, the wooden church "Saint Nicholas" from Budești Susani is atypical due to its proportions, its narthex being expanded in the 19th century. At the same time, according to the inscriptions on the church doors, the iconostasis is older than the building itself, dating back to 1628. The holy doors preserve paintings in which the influence of Moldovan art can be found.
