Erected in 1820, the wooden church dedicated to the "Holy Archangels" from Săpâia belongs to the category of small places of worship, with a porch, narthex, nave and detached apsis. The walls are made of solid oak beams, while the frame is covered with round shingles, provided with a slender bell tower. From the interior painting only a few fragments have survived.
